'96 Q45 ac compressor

1996 Q45 with 170,000 miles and original owner with tons of work done in 27 years.
AC compressor making loud sounds according to my tech. Any chance an OEM might be available. A rebuilt is available in the LA area. Any advice????. Cold air is coming through

Do you have the original compressor on the car still? I would recommend having it rebuilt before trying any aftermarket options, as the quality on those can be spotty.

Thanks for the info.
Just talked my tech and said he hasn’t had any issues with rebuilds but will check with a friend that does rebuilds.
$2200.00 is estimate for rebuild and new belts.
Maybe do the rebuild and keep the original for use later.

If you want to go a cheaper route Rockauto has a FOUR SEASONS 67651 for $170.79.

You know my guy is expensive, but after 20 years , I trust him even though he’s probably but his kids in Stanford University with my Q’s work
