Well after reading all the negatives on the stock stereo and hearing it my self. I tried to install my CD into the dash. I got the proper converter cables and hooked it all up but no sound?

I at first thought my stereo was bad and looked at a few on the Crutchfield site and was ordering one and it showed a $45 converter that it said was needed. So I hooked my stereo up to a battery and it works, known good. So either I bumped my stereo and it now works or you need this part to run thru the stock wire. This is no monster stereo so stock are fine.

Is there and Amp in the dash? Should I just grab 4 speaker wires and go direct fromt the radio to the speakers? Sure would be cheaper than a $45 convertor. The convertor says for BOSE systems, I don't think this is a BOSE, it does not say that anywhere. It looks like stock to me.
