1996 Nissan Pathfinder

Hey, i have a question as to what is this part actually called. I'm asking because the handle for the chip is broken and i think it has a short in. I have to wiggle the chip around some times in order to get the starter to kick on.

Does anybody what it is call or better yet where can i get a replacement one? All the people I know have absolutely no idea where i could find one.

Pic below of what it looks like.

I can't really help you in figuring out what the part is, but I do know where you can purchase it (and figure out what it is). If you go to CourtesyParts.com and click your Pathfinder model on the left, you can sort through the exploded parts diagrams and figure out what it is and then buy it off the site.

Scratch that idea, their pathfinder parts start at '87 (unless '86.5 is the same as an '87).
