Hi, I have an 1996 Nissan Pathfinder.

I have a simple yet complicated question. I was wondering if anybody what this part actually called. I'm asking because the handle for the chip is broken and i think it has a short in. I have to wiggle the chip around some times in order to get the starter to kick on.

Does anybody what it is call or better yet where can i get a replacement one? All the people I know have absolutely no idea where i could find one.

Pic below of what it looks like.

Does anybody have any helpful info? I was really hoping I could just figure out where i could locate a replacement chip, instead of having to pay someone to take it out and rewire it to work without it
