Having misfire at cruise speeds. Above 70 and at idle runs great. Between aprox 40 to 65 it runs rough and misfires. Have changed the injectors, fuel filter, plugs, wires, new distributor (dealer recommended), checked timing. replaced egr valve, both O2 sensors. Also shifts a little rough if it helps. Any body have this problem and what did you do to get it corrected? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My 96 nissan did this as well. Found a vacuum leak at the back of the engine (the one that goes to the brake booster) fixed that and she runs great. Hope this helps, Shaun

Checked the brake booster hose and didn't fine any leaks. also checked the small ones while I had the breather off. Any other suggestion before I cart it off to the dealer service department?

Finely an answer. The EGR ports were stopped up with carbon deposits. Took a while, but I got them cleaned and it runs as it should. Just thought I would post in case someone else had this problem. Thanks
