Recharged the A/C yesterday with 134a refrigerant and everything was ok.I have done this a couple of times with no problems.

Today I started hearing clicking from the engine and the A/C stops blowing cold. The clicking sounds like it is trying to engage but cannot. I thought I might have overfilled it and let some out, but the problem persists.

Green A/C light stays on and the air keeps blowing the whole time. Once it starts with the clicking the A/C goes mild and the engine idle fluctuates. Anyone else have this experience?

UPDATE... when I first start the car and let it idle, the AC runs normal. As soon as I rev her up a bit the clicking begins again.

Ok I checked it again and found the pressure to be a tad high... got it down into the 30-35 range and the clicking sound only happens when there is engine rev.

To Recap. Engine idle, AC blows perfectEngine reved, Clicking begins but as soon as I let go of the gas clicking stops and AC works normally.

If anyone has encountered this please let me know

thanks gian
