after my engine gets a chance to warm up while driving, whenever i am stopped, i'll hit the accelerator and my engine won't do anything for a second or so, kinda like it boggs down. it seems like it's not getting enough gas right away. i usually have to open the throttle all the way until it decides to go. this is worse when i have the ac on. i have put a high flow filter on and i use 93 octane. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there are any solutions.

Start with the basics. When was the last tune up and did you use platinum spark plugs, ngk or aftermarket plug? When was the air filter changed last? Aftermarket filters are usually made as one for all. The oil film they spray on the filter to trap dirt particals if sprayed on the wrong side of filter can coat the inside of the aitflowmeter sensor and put it out of specs. When the fuel filter changed ? clogged or patially clogged fuel filter can cause fuel starvation. A bad connection at the coolant temp sensor will cause a rich condition when hot and is not that noticable when cold. This would be the first place to look if the basics have been found to be good. Also check the tps sensor, this will also cause the same symptoms.

I have already done all the basics like air and fuel filters and sparkplugs but I haven't checked the tps. I'll check it and let you know. Thanks for the help
