96 maxima

I have a 96 Max, I have had it for 2 years now. I now want to start working on the engine. Can you all tell me some things that I can do that wont break my wallet. I have a weapon-r intake and exhaust but I am going to replace both. I was thinking stillen or injen intake and Magnaflow Exhaust.

Performance wise, usually one of the best upgrades for the Maxima is a y-pipe. I don't know a whole lot about the VQ's but it seems most people see some pretty good gains with a y-pipe. I believe there may actually be a thread on the first page with all of the different y-pipe's listed.
