i have a 96 maxima that was cutting out and just running rough so i replaced the mas fixed the problem for about a day, now when the mas is plugged in the car wont idle but runs fine through the rpms and when the mas is disconnected the car idles fine but cuts out and wont go through the rpm range. So far i have cleaned the iacv and the throttle body, changed the spark plugs, confirmed that all coils are firing and as the cel is burnt out im not sure if it is showing a code also i dont have a code reader or a way to get the car to one. Would an o2 sensor cause this to happen? Thank you for your time any help is greatly appriciated.

mass air FLOW sensor or MAF not MAS. If you are running a K&N style filter that requires oil, the oil can get on the sensor and cause it to malfunction. Glad you got it fixed

Don't use the "parts house" plugs...go to Nissan or Infiniti. "Parts houses" suck and have incorrect parts all the times....
