96 KA24DE same as 98KA24DE?

as in title i couldnt find the answer, but i am looking to buy a 98 240sx with a blown engine and a bad transmission, i was wondering if 96 ka24de would work fine, is it any different from the 98, thanks

It is exactly the same.

When installing the 96 motor, use the intake and exhaust systems from the 98 motor.
