96 ka swap for a 91 ka.....issues???

OK, heres the story. my friend bought a 91 hatch from another friend, blah..blah...timing chain ratles like crazy so he wants to swap in a s14 motor. my dad had a 96 ka with 64k on it, sitting in a shop, so he bought it and swapped it in plus the s14 transmission. we havent drivin the car much yet, just home fomr the shop, will he have any problems?? like fuel wise or timing wise since its runnig the s13 doch ecu?????

well, its the same motor, but nissan may have tuned it a bit different, why not just go pick up a cheap s14 ecu from someone who swapped for an sr or from a junkyard or something? id do it just because i like having the same ecu for the same motor. someone may come in and tell you its the same for s13 and s14 though...so dont rely on my advise.
