96 KA in a 91?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

what all would i need to do this swap? i was thinking of jsut swaping out intakemanifolds, but is their more?

Use the 96's block/head only: you'll need the orig. intake and exhaust mani's w/all the goodies attached. This way there's no need to muck with the wiring harness for additional sensors/etc that are on the ODBII engine.

This has been covered before, but I understand search isn't so usefull anymore.

Maybe you could help me help the 240 community out. I've tried converting the S14 KA24DE (96) harness to work for the S13 (90). I basically tried to wire up the S14 KA like you would wire up an SR to the S14. Then routing those wires necessary for the S14 to the S13. The reason I didnt use it was because I couldn't get it to work properly. I think I couldnt get it to work was because I tried to use the S13 ECU relay instead of S14. I'd be willing to send you the wiring harness to see if it will work this way. Check it out

does this work...i have a 95 into 90 240..do this or what
