Car: Very disappointed. My '96 Infiniti I30 is overheating (188K-Miles). I've replaced radiator, hose, fan, and thermostat. Now they tell me head gasket failed & I'd need a new engine.

I am so disappointed that I don't even know where to begin. My current financial situation has me with a '96 Infiniti I30. It has been overheating. I was told to replace the radiator. One week after replacing the radiator, the car started overheating again. This time, another mechanic said a hose connecting to the radiator was bad. They replaced that one. Less than a week, the overheating resumed. They said they the fan and thermostat needed replacement. Those got replaced. The overheating did not go away. Now I am being told the head gasket failed so I'd need a new engine.
What can/should I do?
