It started of that sometimes it wouldn't crank, I'd let off the key and pedal and go again, fire up just fine. Well then it started getting worse. More and more often it wouldn't start. Sometimes wiggling the key would work but now nothing works. We can still pushstart the car though. Its got enough power from the battery so I know its not that.

I started doing some research (mainly here on NICO) to see what I could find. It appeared that the plastic ignition switch is a common problem for Nissans. I ordered one from Joe, put it in, but id didn't solve the problem.

My next thought is the clutch pedal switch, but I'd like to get some input if possible. I can't seem to find a thread with a problem quite like mine so I'm looking for help.

Thanks.

Heath

Could definitely be the clutch switch...especially if releasing the pedal and hitting it again helps.

Well I was getting ready to pull the fuse holder out so I could try to dig into where that clutch switch is and decided to try cranking it over again. I hear a loud click coming from the fuse panel evertime I try to start it.

Anyone?
