96 I30 windsheild washer inop

I just bought a 96 I30 ....the windsheild washer is not working ....I dont have any idea of how anything works in the I 30 so I need lots of help

Does the fluid come out of the nozzle? If the answer is no, I'd say you have a bad washer fluid pump. It *should* be located on the resovior tank and is fairly easy to replace.

If no fluid comes out but you hear a "buzzing" sound then I'd say check and make sure you have fluid with which to wash the windows. LOL

Also, be sure to check that the hoses going to the washer nozzles are connected properly.

I dont get any water coming out of the nozzles... and no noise fron the pump or motor.... The fluid was filled but then dropped overnight...I didnt see any leaks on the ground

The fuse for the washer motor is No. 20, and it is a 20 amp. I believe it's in the box under the hood. I would check that.
