96 i30 iddle problem

I' new today is my first day.

i have 1996 i30 have problem accelerating almost like a hick up, goes stops, goes again, when stepping on the gas. I'm not trying to haul *** or anything just driving. It doesn't do it all the time just started happening. Whats seems to be the problem?

has anybody else had this problem?

just had plugs, belts. radiator replaced, air filter all done........
