96 I30 fuel gauge not working

Hi,I have a 96 I30 with 254k on it. The fuel gauge is stuck at max since the last time I filled the tank. What can be wrong?Regards,Wasim.

You will hav eto have the fuel pump removed as the gauge is all inclusive to the pump... Worst case you need a new fuel pump sending unit...

I think its possible that it got stuck somehow and will eventually come back down... Dont panic if it suddenly drops

My old Q did that on occasion, but this one unfortunately doesnt

Intermittent fule gauge failure (or it being stuck) is a sign your pump and or sending unit will go. Get it checked out and changed, You don't want to get stranded.
