96 I30 255k wiggling on bumps

Hi,I have a 96 I30 with 255k on it. On the smooth roads it drives fine. I had to drive it on some city roads recently and it wiggles badly over the bumps. After hitting bumps it automatically drifts to one side. Is it struts, shocks or ????Regards,Wasim.

Check all the steering rack and suspension bushings. Sounds like they're worn/sloppy.

I would add to that the rear suspension bushings. Pretty simple with the beam axle, but at 255K miles, all rubber is shot unless you have replaced it.

Any suspension maintenance history?
