ARE THESE THINGS REPAIRABLE? i took it apart and i wasnt sure how it worked. But i started to understand it a little. Idk if u guys ever opened it up, but i spun the bobber (looks like a fishing bobber lol) looking thing kinda fast and the crank that grabs the teeth kinda moved. id say maby like not even half a centimeter. i spun it alot and it barley moved. BUt i was guessing that it spins like super fast to move the teeth. i dont see the point in buying a new one. I mean after all it is a little window motor. Everything is repairable. If i dont figure out how to fix then ill have to buy a new one. BUt yeah. Im pretty handy with electronics and things of that nature. If someone can just explain to me what goes bad or how to fix it.... I would do wonders. If anyone has a diagram or any info that might help me repair this thing please let me know.

additonal info- window got stuck down and never came back up. i took it apart and plugged it into my passenger side to see if the motor did anything and it doesnt move the rail at all. Pretty sure my driver side motor went bad.

( ALSO- i dont know the name of these parts so i called them "thing"... but please work with me here, and i was in a hurry so please forgive me for punctuation)

Its just like any other electric motor, but unlike an alternator, there aren't any "rebuild kits" or parts to replace. You could try and re solder any loose connections but all and all I would recommend replacing window motor AND regulator.
