i want to by an amplifier, and i'm trying to figure out how to go about my factory amps (two clarions). they're connected with a 12-pin connection (each), and are 12volts. will i have to bypass them, or are there any converters to a regular amp. from my stock wiring that will get the job done?

Is it a Bose system? (clarion made parts for the bose system)

If so, there are wiring harness/setups available from several online places. Are you replacing the the speakers or just the amps?

If you want to keep the factory Headunit and bypass the amps and/or speakers, this is the connecter you need:http://www.pac-audio.com/oem1k...+kits

i've already changed the head unit (jvc), and both set's of speakers (60W jbl gto's in the front, and 40W alpine sps170a's in the back). stock amp is the only thing that is left. those are clarion amps:

1. clarion en961i-622. clarion en961i-63

i know i should have changed the whole thing at once, but was told that the factory amp will do just fine.
