96-97 turbo. will it fail?

Will a turboed 96 and up pass in north carolina. we dont do the sniffer in robeson co. So im thinking as long as an engine light isnt on i'll be fine. Im finding really good deals on 96/97's

As long as your vehicle is obd2 and the CEL is off you will pass

Thanks for the quick response. a drunk driver totaled my 95se that was built. My plans are to switch everything over. Does anybody have any tips to making atleast 420hp without the cel coming on?

Well there is a trick that you can do that makes your O2 sensor think that the engine is running perfect, im not sure what its called exactly but my brother did it on his truck so he could run a test pipe. give me a second to look around

If you don't Have the sniffer test then you probably don't have inspection at all, what's the point of inspecting the car if you don't check the emissions. You probably just go to County Clerk and they give you your regestration( err can't spell) no questions asked.
