The ecu throws the code about an hour of driving. Usually at 50mph or above. I clear the code and it comes back. I have the FSM and have gone through the diagnostic procedure for the code, everything checks out ok. Yet it still throws the code. Is there any other cause to throw this code?

EVAP canister vent control valve is sticking open. replace it. pull it off the canister and look inside the hole at the pintle if it has rust on it it is bad. If you tube going to it has spider webs in it it wil also throw that code.

Ok, I have checked the control valve, there is no rust, and works. There are no insects in the hoses. The car threw the code again today.

pull the line off at the purge valve under the hood. [the line coming up from the back of the car] see if there is black charcoal in it. if you find the small gravel type stuff comes running out of the hose your canister has come apart and needs to be replace along with your purge control solonoid and valve, you will also need to blow out the lines. If you dont find the charcoal in it let me know what kind of test equipment you have prefferabley a vaccum pump with a gauge on it.

No charcoal in the purge valve. I do have a vacuum pump and a code scanner.

does your code scanner have the ability to moniter items actively. like evap pressure sensor? does your vaccum gauge pump have a built in gauge? Do you have or know what a logic probe is. If so it will make the testing easier if not there is a way around it. I just want to know if I need to go into greater detail with the testing to achive what a logic probe does with the simple flip of a switch. I will have testing for you once you reply tonight.

basically you need to test the system by first placing your vaccum gauge on the hose going into the canister from the front of the car [ it is the smaller of the 3 attached to it.] then this is where the logic probe comes in and being able to watch the evap pressure sensor on your scanner. you need to activate your purge volume control vlave so it will purge the system but instead of it actually purging you will be looking for a response from the sensor and for your vaccum gauge to have vaccum on it about manifold vaccum at idle. if you have vaccum and your pressure sensor did not drop below 2 volts [it stayed at around 3.36 volts] your pressure sensor is toast. If you did not get vaccum your purge valve is toast. you need to figure out which wire is ground on the purge solonoid valve and ground it so it will open to do this test.

No, I don't have a logic probe.Yes, the code scanner has datalogging, but everytime I try it, the EVAP cont comes up "inc". How long does the car have to run to complete the tests?

I have the freeze frame data:

Does any of this tell you anything?

freeze frame does not tell me much related to your code. according to your list evap completed, it says ok meaning it completed the self test. When that happens you need to check for codes. is there still a code stored? If no code stored you may have inadvertantly repaired it temporarily. when I asked if your scanner monitered items actively, I meant can you see real time data from any of the sensors? If so you should watch evap pressure sensor while conducting the test I mentioned above. You will have to look at your wiring diagram to figure out which wire to the purge solonoid the ecm is grounding to open that valve. Once you figure it out you want to leave it plugged in to the solonoid and jump that wire to ground and then check your vac gauge and the pressure sensor as I mentioned before.

Ok, it is still throwing the p1147 code, now it throwing p0510 code. What is going on?

I just checked the codes again, now it shows p0402 and p1447.

all your codes seem unrelated. check your ecm connector and see if there is any moisture on it. You need to conduct the test I mentioned above on the evap system as that seems to be a persistant code.
