96 240sx se help?

i have a 96 240sx s14 and it runs perfect as far as i know, when im driving and and i down shift then let out the clutch the car de accelerates of course but it kinda makes a popping sound kinda like pop pop pop but when im accelerating nothing, is this something i should be concerned about or do all of em do this?
im running a straight pipe with a greddy exhaust and tip if that helps.. also took it to a exhaust shop and he said everything things good no leaks of cracks in the pipe, thank you for any input!

it's fine. just unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust. don't lose sleep over it.

^^^^ yep, if there is no leaks i wouldnt worry bout it, my car does it bad cuz im running really rich right now,
