96 240sx electrical problem

ok so i took out my stock radio out of my 96 240sx to replace it with a CD deck.. i had to drive to the store to get a harness for the deck and i felt a shock next thing i know all my dash lights go out including my tail lights..anyone have any idea what the problem may be?? iv searched found nothing

get a test light and check your fuses

1st, you didnt tape your dimmer wire up well enough and it grounded out. its orange.

2nd, you blew a fuse. specifically the tail lamp fuse. its a 10A fuse located on the drivers kick panel with the rest of the fuses.

3rd, this fuse has the tail lamps, corner lamps, bumper lights, dash lights, HVAC lights, cigarette lighter light, the light that lights up the "auto" on the drivers window switch.

4th, ive done the exact same thing. i didnt tape the dimmer wire enough and it grounded.
