so i saw the thread about the little white box.

So at one point we had a bum starter. I replaced the starter and car still wouldnt start so I figured out it was this stupid "engine start" button on the dash. i pull out the rats nest of wiring behind the stereo which includes a monitor, a alpine deck and alarm, and a XM radio unit. once i get it all out i get the starter button to work and in a fit of excitement I drop a screwdriver down into the mess or wiring, see a few sparks, and now nothing will start.
put the key in and turn it and I got no dash lights, no fuel pump priming, no starter turning. its as if the key is not even being turned. all fuses look good, and headlights turn on. any idea guys? car is a 96 SE original KA. I am not sure if its hte white TCU unit because i wasnt sure if that affects engine/starter/fuel pump or just teh dash lights. its got a good battery and brand new starter
thx!
