Ok guys i am having an issue that i need some help with...to set up the problem:

Today i swapped out the front hubs to 5 lug from an se abs model. Mine was the base model without ABS. I only swapped the hub, it did have the abs gear on it which i left, but since mine has no sensor did not think that would cause an issue. When i put on the hubs they spun freely and i made sure to torq down bearing nut to correct specs per fsm.

I then swapped out the front struts/springs with kyb agx struts and eiback prokit springs. again torquing to spec.

I then moved onto the brakes which are 26mm aluminum calipers with pdm conversion lines. I bolted the lines to the calipers, then unhooked the old caliper line from the hard line at the inner fender, connected the new conversion line, put in the tabs to hold everything in tight and bled the brakes as i normally would.

At this point i noticed the hubs would not spin freely but didnt think anything about it, thinking that maybe my girl put it in gear when she was helping me to bleed the brakes.

I put the tires on, dropped the car and hopped in. Went to back up and nothing...its like the brakes are locked. The BRAKE light on the dash is also remaining on. I set the parking break and lowered again thinking maybe it got stuck somehow and tried again and still nothing.

Any ideas? Sorry to go into everything that i did but i wanted to make sure i painted an accurate picture. Could the 300zx brakes be locked up somehow, why would the BRAKE light remain on.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am still using stock MC and everything of that nature. The only things changed are what i mentioned above.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The ebrake light should only be on if the master cylinder is low on fluid or if your ebrake is on.

More than likely, your rotors are bound up on the calipers. Pull your wheels off and check to see if that's your problem. You may want to lest fit with just the rotor and then just the caliper to ensure nothing is binding on anything.

I have Z32 rears on my 95 240sx, they have the conversion lines and the R33 lines. Any ways when i'm driving I hear a very audible clicking sound coming from the rear and I also feel it on the ebrake handle. Any ideas on what the problem could be? also, the brackets on the cable did not bolt on anywhere on the chassis so they are resting on the subframe, problem maybe? I'm gonna take a look tomorrow. There is also a squeaking coming from the rear! ahhh!!
