brakes have been changed ( new rotors and pads in front ) makes grinding noice at high speed when i turn wheel left slightly... makes really loud grinding nose coming out of a parked position ... any ideas ? wheels are not rubbing the suspension ( from what i can see when it is on the ground AND jacked up ???) and reply would be appreciated.......

Start looking for a sign of rubbing between the plastic fender liners and your tires. Otherwise I'd have a close look at the bearings.

grinding? or whining? if its whining.. check your throwout bearing/input shaft bearings.. you can ask the "greasy monkeys" about that..it'll cost you though.. since they charge up the *** for labor

His original post says he replaced the front rotors and pads...

I guess that's why they're so popular (more fun to drive). That's kinda what I figured - - forget the CV joint thing then.
