this may be a dumb question and it may not be, im having clutch problems all stock car, but my clutch is slipping bad i can go down the road but if i gas it, rpms go up and thats it but when the car is cold it doesnt do it, but then on some days and for weeks it will never happen, it sounds stupid because when your clutch is slipping you need a new clutch but why is it only sometimes my clutch slips?

They can slip when cold, or very hot. But yea sounds like its time for a new clutch kit and more.

New trans mount
New Pilot bushing
Clutch kit with throwout bearing
And since they are so cheap CMC and slave.

This may be to little to late, but I was having similar problems, my clutch would slip occasionally, had a new master and slave on it. I installed a new clutch, throw out, and pressure plate and that worked for a day before it began slipping again. Oh yeah, and the clutch I replaced was fine, it wasn't even worn out. Turns out I had something stuck in the junction block that ties in to the clutch hydraulic system. It took an hour to get the gunk out, and honestly I would probably just replace the entire line. Point being check the junction block out before replacing the clutch.....
