96 200sx Cracked Trans Case

This is the story, I have a 96 200sx ga16de that has a cracked auto trans case, (too broke to buy a 5 spd swap ) so i want to either replace the transmission or buy a new case for my old trans. I cant find the case anywhere on this planet so my decision is to buy a new trans but i want to know if there are interchangeable transmissions. I found a 90-93sx auto trans but want to know if its compatable with mine. PLEASE HELP im so effin stumped and i need this car running quick! Thanks!

Im am sorry to here about what happen to you, Did you ask the on-line Mechanic Nicoclub has one. Or ask a Transmission Place around TX and tell them the Info. on the problem. Allways remember your the buyer not the seller so, just talk on the phone and don't sound deperate over the phone do homework you don't want to be OWNED!

Fits. Probably high miles though, I'd suggest going for a newer one if at all possible.

I want to be 100% sure theyre interchangeable because if its not im gonna be screwed out of some cash. Transmission stuff isnt cheap. lol i just need to find a solution my baby has been sitting for too long.
