96-00 front drive shaft direction

I've checked the fsm but can someone show me a pic of their front driveshaft orientation? Just want to be sure it wasn't installed backwards by PO.

It does look like it might be possible to install it backwards but the images in the factory service manual and at Nissan Parts Deal are unmistakable in showing the correct orientation of the front propeller shaft.

Thank you! So just to make sure, the telescoping end points back (rear aft) according to this drawing?
