If it's riding low in the front, the springs should be the culprits, they are what "hold up" the car. The shock absorbers keep the car from bouncing up and down when it hits bumps, "floating" down the road.
I'd replace both in a 10 year old car while you're in there. Check out eibach springs, and tokico blue dampeners, they are supposed to be cheaper than factory, but more sportier.
