well thats my injector and tuning setup. i am trying to find out the injector latency or lag settings that i need/will need. im just getting into the tuning process and knowing some of these settings will help me out a lot to keep the "figure out" time to a minimum with my tuner. if someone would be willing to share some info with me that would be great!

a bit more info on my setup - its a built s13 sr with gt3582r, tube mani, sheet metal intake mani, hks solid lifters, hks 272 step 3 cams.

Whats funny is that i had the same problem with my 75lbs injectors about 3 weeks ago. let me save you some trouble. Fisr just to let you know i feel your pain is that i had to wire in resitors and everything to get the low impedence injectors to work then when it came time for the start up procedure i went to google to find the lag times. No info for them could be found anywhere!!! So i get on my phone and call Bosch, then i call MSD, then i call Delphi. I calle the actuall factory where the injectors are made and no one can tell me s***. After about a day of waiting i get a call back form a Regional Vice President from MSD. He then proceeds to tell that the latency times are propietitary information and is protected by law as confidential information. So i ask then "what you called to tell me that i can't use your product" and he game a song and dance and told me i was SOL. After talking to a lot of injector shops and tuners. I called Steve Shawdows at shadowerks in CA. He told me to set the lag at no more the + .22 for each cyclinder. I set it at .18 and it seems to work fine. Also if you go onto zilvia.net and search fpr Steve shawdows he can remotely tune you car if you have the PFC dataloggit. It's a great serveice and Steve is known as being ne of the best tuners on the west coast if not the country. It's also pretty cheap. He could problaly help with your lag time issues seeing as how your are 92lb and mine were 75lb. Also there are a few reasons now i wish i would of went with the AEM or Haltech. One thing is the latency factor which we both had issue with. Next thing is damn idle procedure. I don't understand it. Every other EMS lets the tuner set the idle and if it's to low then just turn it up a little fix the A/F ration and you good to go. Not with the power FC i have HKS stage 2 cams and i get my idle to stabilize for nothin. I have let intailized it and let it sit for almost a hour idle and it still never stabilized!! Even now it's gotten a little better but it still hunts sometimes. But i still haven't gotten a tune yet so IDK maybe the tuner will figure out how to stabilize it. So if your hunts even after the startup or it dies out after gettinh in high RPMS"S abd boost i would say thats it's normal. My buddie has a l-jetro with a built motor and his idle is crappy to. His is not real bad but it has it moments.

thats a bit of bull crap for those companies to hold that information for aftermarket injectors, where it is needed to proporly tune.

that brings me to another aggravation. i always hear about how crappy something is after i have committed to buying it. i hope once i get with my tuner we will be able to figure something out.
