95kade in to a 91? whats it take??

ok well i tryed searching but no avail, i have a 91 kade and its showing some wear, it has come up with a few new noises (even for a ka its loud!) so what i wanna know is how much is diffrent is the wiring for a newer ka? and is there a easier way to do this. pending the price i might just go nutts and build this moter to the hilt. built up kade 13 with a t3\t4 turbo that would be nice...:ylsuper

you need you 91 intake manifold and all associated sensors...

keep ur 91 ka, the cams have more lift than later years....

yeah im using double 91 cams.. i know its the cheap mans way of doing it but it is nice. ... and could you elaborate on accesorys... how much hackin will i have to do to the wiring?... i hate wiring esp in a small engne bay..

you dont change the wiring...

all you can use from the s14 motor is the block and head. all sensors/manifolds/other crap is from the s13.

i did it last weekend,. it isnt bad.

^^^ Correct.

Use the S14 head and block, that's it. Keep your intake manifold, sensors, accessories, etc...and those cams...just swap them over.

You're lucky enough to get a straight swap. No fooling around with moving lines and re wiring blah blah blah. All you should have to do is change the 95's distributor to your 91s, likewise with the intake manifold, a/c, and p/s. No messing with the ecu involved or changing of the tach and other piddily stuff that made my swap a little more work.
