95240sx auto to manual swap/ speed sensor improperly reading

The speedo is reading 120mph at around 50mph... What would cause this problem? I did the transmission swap and everything else is working fine. I am still using an auto ecu however because its already been tuned by jim wolf technology.

I've been running my s13 without a speedo for almost a year and it's never bothered me. Only p****** have speedos.

I just completed my auto to manual swap and I have this same exact problem. I have a 95' 240SX non ABS but I am using the manaul trans ECU.

Could it be the wrong speed sensor or ECU? I bought the computer on EBAY so it might not be for a 95. It just says S14 on it so it could be 96-98(Not sure if there is a difference?). It's not that big of a deal but I was hoping for a legal smog! Has any one seen this?

what year is the transmission? if it is before 95 then you need get the correct speed sensor

I'm not sure the transmission year but it does have the Crank Position sensor so I assume it's a 95 or newer. I bought a new 95 speed sensor and it's doing the same thing (speedometer reading double). I'm now thoroughly confused!!!
