was watching nopi last night and a guy had on a display of a 950z datsun showed some dealer papers saying it cost 100,090. anyone else hear of such a thing

That would be silly though. The name of the Z has always represented displacement....240Z = 2.4L260Z = 2.6L280Z = 2.8L280ZX = 2.8L300ZX = 3.0L350Z = 3.5L

That car doesn't have a 9.5L in it. Regardless, its just another stupid concoction by someone who thinks they know something at Nopi.

Just from that short clip I could tell that it was the DE motor. That invoice of the price that your seeing looks like just an itemized list of how much it cost to do the build. My question is did he say twin or trible turbo? Either way seems like alot of retardedness for a build that isnt very unique...unless he some how triple turboed that Z.

I can say that that car is pretty nice overall but imo its not worth 100g.

The wide body fenders and **** were all wavy, the emblems were retarded, and it had anodized blue wiper blades.... lame.

Overall id rock it but change ALOT.



I was at Nopi in Denver that day but didnt realize there was some sorta hype about this car. I saw it and was like... man thats pretty cool but I didnt **** myself.

I think that guy got too much credit for an overhyped car.

Its basically like he found EVERY carbonfiber piece for the Z and installed it even if its just a stick on dash kit. The datsun emblem and the 950z emblem made me vomit alittle.

jebus... its like a love hate relationship with this car.

I WAS THERE, I was one of those idiots looking at the "950z" He handed out little dealership ratings, the thingy they put in the window of new cars. that said it was a datsun 950z that costs 1,000,000. It was pretty silly because he had the car covered in this giant ugly blanket until about noon when he uncovered it.Some guy was also said "damn 950z thats pretty tight huh, one million dollars" I responded with a somewhat pompus remark and told him that "I think its a 350z.... and if it was a 950z it would be 9.5 liters right?" He responded by walking around for a few minutes then coming up behind me and whispering "better stop talking **** son"

Ya thats deffinatly a 350Z with a lot of mods but its still a 350Z, and ya to live up to the name it would have to have a 9.5 liter engine which it dosnt, are you sure it was a million tho and not a hundred thousand or somethin because even if it was a special "950Z" i dont think it would have a million dollar price tag.

I remember seeing this post a few days ago, so when i was flipping through the channels and heard them talking about this on turner vision on the speed channel i believe i had to watch. there is the guy talking about his car which is covered, i'm waiting for the "big" reveal, blanket is whisked off and to my surprise it was a black 350z with new emblems, so i started flipping through the channels again and wound up watching "the ringer"
