When the ignition is turned on the needle on the tachometer jumps as far as possible to the right. The engine does not have to be running. Two mechanics said the tach cannot be repaired. I live in Guatemala where labor is relatively cheap and parts, even used, are high. Many repairmen have become quite adept at repairing the "unrepairable". I removed the tach and I see that it has a small circuit board. Does anyone know where I can get a diagram of that small board. An electronics repairman might be able to repair the circuit board if that is the problem.
Thanks in advance,
Marty
