'95 XE - Flakey Tachometer

My tach needle jumps all over the place while the engine is running. I've checked the connector going to the tach, and it looks okay.

I suspect either a bad ground or a bad pickup.

Can anyone tell me where the tach ground is, and also where it gets its signal?

This is a common problem for many Pathfinder owners. Usually what fixes it is replacement of the tach.
