Do I need to take the wheel off to get at it? or is there an easier way?

Wheel off not, but you need to get under there. Jack it up and turn the wheel.

yea got it :/ seems my pump was bad but now my nozzles on the hood are clogged, doh! any special way I can try to unclog them?
