Whats up guys, got a pretty simple question. I'm in the process of swapping engines, and ran into a prob. I was seperating the harness from the motor and realized that the 95 has 1 plug into the throttle body, while the 98 has 2. Is this simple enough to just change the t.b. from the 95 and put it on the 98 motor, or do I have to cut and rewire the plug? Any help would be amazing, and thanks ahead of time....Neilthis is the 98This is the 95

I think it's possible, as long as you keep your 95 ecu.

You could also just switch the whole intake manifold, I think there are other plugs that are different from OBDI to OBDII.

Yeah, i'm going to swap the whole manifold. Seems a little easier, found a couple extra vacuum line coming off the bottom of the 98 mani. Don't wanna have to block off all the lines for the evap. BTW, what am I going to need for the mani swap? Anything more then the gaskets?

Uhh gaskets is about it. I'm actually about to swap my mani over too, I'm putting a 95 engine into a 90 car. When doing it just make sure you get all the bolts. The manifold is basically 2 separate pieces, and I think it's easier to take off the top half then take off the bottom half. Top half is bolted to the head and the bottom half is bolted to the block. Just make sure you have all the bolts taken off before you start trying to pull the mani off. Good luck!
