I swear my car is falling a part before my very eyes.First of all one of the brakes were making a screeching sound for ages then stopped even thought the brake pads had been replaced a few months ago. Then the power window motor went.

And now a new thing popped up yesterday.

When I steer full lock my car now makes a squealing sound.Wouldn't have the slightest idea where it's coming from ethier as it sounds like a fan belt squeal, but if it was a fan belt squeal why would it be doing this when I'm steering at full lock only?

Try adjusting your tensioner. A year ago i had belt squeal from a loose belt and i adjusted it and i haven't gotten it since. The car squeeled when I started the car for the first 10 seconds and also when i backed out of my driveway which usually required me to turn the wheel heavily. Hope this helps.

power steering doesnt really like full lock, every car I have every driven makes a noise when the steering hits full lock. wether or not the noise you hear is the same noise I am refering to, who knows. I think you are becoming paranoid due to other car issues. I know because I am paranoid as-well

find belt at its longest distance betwwen two pullys, twist it, if it goes furthur than 90 degrees( quarter turn) its too loose. also check o see if the suface is glazed, if so replace it. the belt squeel at full lock is due to the pressure bypass when you reach max steering, its a protection built in to keep you from blowing out seals.

The squealing has stopped.Took it into the motor mechanic and now it makes a whirring noise in the morning.I'd say it's too tight now.

At least my power window goes up and down now.Turns out a piece of plastic (tooth off the gear) was caught in the motor and seized it for good.

New issue came up again.Went for a drive after replacing my bald rear tires, nest thing I know there is a zzzzzzzz coming from the front right. The plastic on the instide of the frint guard had come away.Ripped it off eventually.

Now it runs pretty well except for the weird noise fron the power steering belt in the moring.

Which will be fixed tomorrow morning.
