I have a 95 SE with the keyless remote... I was just wondering what range people get on it? Mine only seems to work when I'm less than 20 feet away. Is there any way I can increase the range without getting a new system or one of those antenna's?

Another issue that I have in the winter is that the remote doesn't work at all when the car is cold. Once the car is warm, the remote works ok.

Thanks.

yea that'd be nice, but i have other stuff (like uh, performance stuff:) ) to spend that much money on, cause i figure that kinda system would be kinda pricey

Yea, they are pricy but not that much and they are not that great anyways. My friend had it hooked up to his Excursion and he hated that thing after having it for 3 months. He said he kept on getting beeped when people would like bang it or even walk by and ****. Especially when he was in class and it would go off all the time. It was like the car knew he was in class so it would beep non stop. he fillay got ridd of that thing...

He coulda just turned the sensitivity down some. My mom's Talon use to be like that. I swear a fly could have landed on it and it would have went off, so we turned the sensitivty down pretty low. Now it only goes off if the door is opened
