Hi guys im new here to the forms and also to the 240 world im real interested in getting a 95+ s14 as a daily driver while i go to school and work. i want to buy a car thats goin to last me at least 4mnths b4 i can really put some work into it. i found a 95 s14 the other day out west and the guy just dropped the price to 2200. it had two owners b4 and was a drift car previously. the new owner dropped a 60k mile sr20de into it and it runs and drives real clean wit a stage two clutch. the body is like a 6/10 some rust on the drivers step rail and some bondo work done on the drivers rear quarter. the only other problem other than that is the ac which is the scariest issue to me cuz its summer time in fla. i dint take that gud of a look at the engine (stupid me) but my dad looked at the pic last nite and said the reason theres no ac is because they cut the whole system out wen they did the swap everyone has been telling me this problem will cost me and arm and a leg. i just wanted to talk to some real experienced 240 drivers and see what you guys think thanks in advanced to all hope to hear frm you guys soon

I bought a complete A/C system from one of the guys here in the forums for less than $300 with compressor and evaporator that goes under the dash, because my whole system was removed as well. Then it was $70 to get it charged, and I installed it in a day. I ordered the A/C adaptor brackets from Codyace for painless hook up of the comressor. Plus I would check the FSM if you get the car and make sure all of your wiring for it is square as well since a couple of the wires have to run to the ECU. Again, it's not hard just research a little and good luck!
