95 S14 w/ RB25DET Swap Problems

Ok so i've had this problem with just doing a auto to manual conversion, so i know the fact that there is an RB25 in place of the KA24 shouldn't matter but here is my problem. The car is a 95 s14 auto with abs, we swapped an RB25 with a mckinney wiring harness. They never asked if it was manual, auto or had abs just so you know. But hey did notice it was abs, and that we would have to get rid of it, because they don't do abs wiring which was fine. So, now.. the motor is bolted in, ic piping, driveshaft everything. The neutral saftey has been bypassed and the engine cranks and starts from the drivers seat. The problem is this, the car cranks, starts, runs, but then dies within a few seconds. I can play with the throttle and get it to run at about 1000rpms but every so often we have a backfire through the intake system which generally indicates a lean condition. I've contacted mckinney and they suggested it had something to do with the park/neutral safety, and we have since completely eliminated any possibility of that by plugging in the original transmission switch and putting it in park which still ends in the same problem. It cranks, fires, and dies. Now, with carb cleaner or using the throttle we are able to keep the engine running, and finally slowly idle it down so it doesn't just stall, but it lopes as if there is a cam from hell in it which i know isn't inside the engine.

Ok, so that was the description of everything that is happening and what has been done so far to keep the engine running, my problem is i experienced this about 2 years ago with a auto to manual swap keeping the ka, and it turned out to be a wiring issue but i can't remember where it was. My question to everyone is, what portion of the wiring am i missing besides the neutral/park safety to keep the engine running? I remember splicing more then just two wires together in the previous car, but i am trying to save time and not completely trace through the wiring to figure it out again this time. Any information, suggestions, ideas, that you guys can throw me would be greatly appreciated, and i thank you ahead of time.
