'95 S14 using '98 transmission..question

to sum it all up..

98 uses 3R ecu95 uses 3C ecu

do i have to swap any sensors? if so..can i use any off the 95 auto?

No...you do not need to swap any sensors...they are the same for all S14s.

However, if you wan to use a '98 ECU in your '95, you need to move 3 wires on the ECU harness.

And you'll nee a 4 wire rear O2 sensor, heated front O2, etc...to avoid a CEL...so, you'll basically have a CEL ALL the time.

If I were you, I'd use the auto '95 ECU for now, and find a 5-speed '95 ECU when you can.

It will idle and run fine...and you'll still have a CEL (for auto-related stuff)...but you won't need to repin the harness, etc...

thanks man...the guy gave me an option of choosing from a '95 [3C] or a '98 [3R] when i bought the swap kit...well i chose the '95 ecu..
