I just got done from a freggin long & troublesome PCV replacement....freggin had to jack up the car, put on jack stands, remove under engine splash guard, then remove intake pipes & disconnect alternator and remove freggin oil sending unit and then freggin removed the alternator & intake manifold bracket...freggin PCV was a pain in the *** to remove had to use a 19mm ratchet combination wrench also note that freggin pain in the *** to remove the PCV hose which freggin broke in about 1/4" hose from the PCV to the line which I can't find where the hell the PCV lines connect to the block or intake manifold so I had to mickey mouse it using duck tape & a nice durable tube....will a mickey mouse duck tape and tube connector cause any trouble for me? thanks.........

That hose goes to a metal line that has 4 little hoses connected to it, and each one goes to an intake runner.

If the hose leaks, it will be a vaccuum leak, seeing as its connected directly to the intake.

I looked for threads like this to help me because I also had to change the PCV, but didn't come across this one until I did the same mistake and tore the PCV hose. I now have a vacuum leak. I thought I could just use a fat clamp to hold the hose together, but I could hear it hiss when I put it backed together so I'm screwed. I was going to take the intake manifold off, but I think I'll just do this 3/8 hose quickie. The problem is that the PCV hose is hard and cracks when you try to bend it to put the PCV Back on. (fixed now).
