I have been chasing this issue for a couple years now. Every year I take it of the garage in april/may and it runs great for a few months, then I get this hesitation/bogging issue that comes and goes. Seems to do it more when the car is hot. I can always throttle hard through it, but it gets worse as the season goes on. It never does it when I take it to the shop or the dealer, figures...

What I have done/eliminated:-New Cap, Rotor, Plug Wires, Plugs-All New Vacuum lines-New Knock Sensor-New o2 sensor-New IACV Control Solenoid-New intake manifold gasket-Tested injectors, fuel pump and pressure-Checked timing-New Fuel Filter-Tested EVERY emission sensor per FSM instructions-New TPS-New CPS-New PCV valve

I have been through the fsm back to front testing and reading. The only thing that seemed to help was the new plug wires, it went the second half of last season with no problems, this year they're back.

SO, my best guess is 1. Bad distributor2. Bad ECM3.Injector sticking open.

I would GREATLY appreciate any input!

could this be as simple as a bad alternator?

Well I eliminated that. Tested out fine, steady 13.9 even when bogging.

The car was in a steady spurt of this so I figured I should observe while I can.

I noticed that A. it runs rich as heck when boggin and reeks of fuel.B. Usually you can hear the steady hiss of vacuum near the throttle body, which is normal. I noticed that the hiss was coming and going intermittently, whether the car was bogging or not.

It would be quick to think vacuum leak, but I just replaced all of the vacuum lines on the rear of the motor when I redid the intake manifold gasket and the egrc solenoid.

I would love some input guys.
