95 s14 240sx rear window install help please~

I have a 95 s14 rear window that needs replaced.

I ordered the factory moulding/trim along with the correct screws and lower panel but I can't seem to get the trim to fit on the window correctly.

Does anyone have any hints as to how to get this sucker in???

I can tell the orientation on how the trim is supposed to attach to the window........ It just doesn't seem to want to go FAR enough on the window to catch and stay put while I install it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated (I did search and couldnt come up with a solution)

(also, on the replacement window --- one of the heater defrost tabs is missing ---- are they simply soldered on, or is there a special conductive adhesive used to attach them so you dont overheat the glass & break it>????)
