We've just had quite a storm here in Northern CA and another is on the way. My car has been sitting for the last few days and this morning when I drove it to work I noticed the carpet in the right rear passenger area was damp. I also have some wetness in the forward right area of the trunk.

I plan on blowing out the sunroof drain holes just in case, but has anyone had a similar problem? Any idea where to check if it's not the sunroof? I looked around the rear windows and the weatherstripping surrounding the doors but didn't see anything that looks unusual.

I think it's rather minimal as it was 4 days of solid rain and wind with just the carpets getting damp. (Enough to make it smell bad). Any ideas on this one?

Thanks!

Be careful that you don't use too much air pressure and blow the rear drain hose off [or maybe this is already the problem]?

Q45 Tech,

Is the rear drain hose in the sun roof pan? I'm wondering if that could be the source of my tiny sun roof leak? I have read another member mention something about plastic tubing in this area? Is there supposed to be something other than a hole for drainage in each corner?
