going to sell my 95' Qa. I hate to sell this car, but I can't work on cars anymore because of medical disability.
You can see my history of what I have done to the car by searching all posts by aaronl and aaronl2. Mileage was 65K when I bought it, now 87,715. It has been driven only about 200 miles since 2006. I wanted to replace the accumulators and upper links before driving it any more. I bought 4 new tires and the front tires wore badly within 15K miles. I will have to put tires on it to pass Texas safety inspection, one has major tread separation. I had the alignment checked when I noticed the tire wear. (yes, they knew to check when running so the active was active.) I did a search here and determined the cause was most likely the upper links. I bought them but have not installed them. TCS has problems (lights are on). Active works, but is flat with no leaks. I had the transmission flushed with BG system. I flushed the brake fluid when i replaced the pads. All of the fluids and filters have been changed when required, including the differential. I have been having the oil changed every 6 months even if it has not been driven. When I have the oil changed I have them drain and refill the several quarts of transmission fluid that will drain. Idler pulleys are noisy on start up. I was told by the previous owner that he had the valve cover gaskets replaced. I requested the service records from the local dealer......service manager told me there were no records for the VIN number. I showed him the original VIN card. I don't know if he was lying or just lazy.
I replaced: fuel pump, alternator, fan, water pump, belt, starter (used from nico member), front brake rotors, front and rear brake pads, broken wheel studs. All parts were new OEM.
I have the following new OEM parts that I will include with the car if I sell to a NICO member: 2 upper links, 2 tension rod bushings, 8 spark plugs, 2 steering rack boots, seals for steering rack, oil pan gasket & screen, 4 cans of active oil, 2 of the "old" oil filters with the proper socket that fits the filter. notice in the photos that the E brake pedal pad is missing I have it. Sony CD changer doesn't work, ( rubber suspension is rotted like they all do).

I love this car, but my wife demands I sell it. of course she is right.... LOL been sitting in the driveway with a cover on it for 6 years. I would like to get $8K for it, but will take $3.8K. :rotfl

The paint is ok. I may be dumb for posting this, but it the paint isn't as good as it looks in the photos. It needs a good rubbing out. There is something suspicious about the driver's door. There is white paint showing along the trim piece. This may be primer, I don't know. I don't think the door has been changed because the hinge is worn enough that the door drops a little when opened. The car is very clean as the photos show. The only place that is dinged is on the hood as shown in the photos. The only problem with the interior is the wrinkle on the driver door vinyl and the trim piece that goes around the sunroof switches is cracked in several places. All of the rubber parts, (door/window/trunk seals) are in good shape. The antenna is missing a part to make it tight. I replaced the mast, but its' not right. I did change the door lock solenoid and other lock parts on the front passenger door. I do have the original starter motor that i replaced. All that is wrong with it is the brushes need replacing. Damn starter and alternator are a b**** to replace on the Q. I may have the original alternator as well. I haven't seen it lately..... It may be in a safe place.

The person I bought it from claimed that the previous owner was the lead mechanic at the Houston Infiniti dealer. The service manager denied that. I did find some papers that the car had been serviced at a local Cadillac dealer. Maybe the mech at the Caddy dealer owned the car. I am guessing that the Caddy dealer is where the valve cover gasket/seals were replaced. I will send you the vin by email so you can check out any history on record. As I said in the original post, the local service manager said it wasn't a good vin, even though I had the original vin/warranty card. When the tires were good I did take it up to 150 mph plus several times, it was stable and smooth. The battery is relatively new, but not the correct size. I had to do a switch when I had a QX4 and never put the new battery in the QX4 before selling it. There is a buzz in one of the rear speakers that is a new problem

When I did the brake job, I wrongly assumed the bad rotors were the front ones, so that is what i ordered and replaced. Measured run out on the front rotors is less than .0005". I couldn't afford new rear ones when I did the work and had them turned. I had to use calibrated shims to get the rear rotors under .002".

AC will freeze your butt off even on 100+ days. The Q AC is the best I have ever experienced of all the cars I have owned.

I may throw in 4 heavy duty jack stands and my floor jack. I don't think I will be using them again after the Q is gone.

If you want any other photos of details I will provide.
