i was wondering if any one has replaced theyre fuel pump with any of the aftermarket offerings? an oem pump is out of my price range right now and mine is starting to whine so id like to replace it soon

NAPA has the motor itself in the $140 range. Don't need all the screen add ons my screen looked reusable.

When it is whining, it is overheating the FPCU. If you think the superior OEM LPFP is expensive, you don't want to know know what a new FPCU costs.

If you are not Superman, you cannot see contaminants in the fuel pump sock.

Always replace the fuel filter, preferably annually. It is cheap.

well i have an amp that i think may be making the sound. i have heard that a bad fuel pump will burn out the fpcu. i also have heard that replacing the fuel pump in general will increase the performance of the q. i may replace the pump just on that principle even if its not a bad pump
